Our task today was to produce a sketch model in response to a perfume shop or watch shop – I chose a watch shop. I began by researching watches, this included pictures of its clockworks, straps, colours, and patterns to gain inspiration. I gathered all these ideas and merged them to create one design on an A4 piece of cardboard.

My sketchmodel

I recreated the cogs using the inside of the corrugated cardboard. I cut out numbers, the hands and made a watch strap.

Once I’d finished my model I took photographs from different angles and printed my best one. I drew on it to give the space a function and to bring it to life.

Schedule of accommodation: I added interior elements to the printed photo. This included lights, signage, a till, storage, displays and people.
