Brian’s Second Drawing Class
We began the session by doing the complete opposite of what we did last Monday. Instead of feeling the object that we were drawing and looking at the paper, we had only look at our object and not at all on the paper. This was quite funny and people often drew odd looking things that hardly resembled the objects. Brian noted how important to keep your pen on the page throughout to hopefully help create a more accurate image. We picked objects from around the room which were irregular shapes. My attempts of drawing scissors, a water bottle and a coffee cup are shown below.
The next task was to draw objects which were overlapping. I drew a pair of sunglasses and scissors. After we had done this he told us to get a fairly thick dark marker and mark areas where there were hidden parts.
